The museum pass program is made possible by the Friends of the Ramsey Library (FORL) and allows Ramsey Library Card holders free admission to various museums by borrowing our membership passes. All passes should be reserved ONLINE using the above button.

Reminder: ALL passes are physical passes that must be picked up in person at the library and brought to each museum. Email confirmations of your reservation do not count as your museum pass.

Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM)
Each pass gives access to the museum for 4 people at a time (2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children). Additional guests must pay admission. This also provides 15% discount at the museum store. 212 W 83rd St, New York, NY 10024 / (212)-721-1223 / https://cmom.org

Note - CMOM requires that all visitors have timed entry tickets for every visit. You can make a reservation for timed entry with the membership card you borrow from the library. First, reserve the pass from the library and pick up that pass. To make a timed visit reservation: Visit cmom.org, click on Visit and then Reserve Tickets. Select the date you want, then select the option for Timed Entry (MEMBER) and type in the membership number that appears on the pass you borrowed from the library. Finally, select the time of day you want and enter the number of guests and select Place Order. You will receive a timed entry ticket on your phone and/or email. Museum Pass Borrowing Rules

  • The passes may be reserved by any Ramsey Library card holder 18 and over in good standing.

  • The passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance.

  • Two passes may be taken out per month, per household.

  • Patrons must present the Ramsey Library card used to reserve the museum pass when picking up at the circulation desk.

  • The passes are on loan for 7 days and are not renewable.

  • A late fee of $10 per day and a fee of $50 will apply for each lost pass.

  • Passes cannot be returned in book drop or at another library.

  • It is the borrower's responsibility to verify museum hours, closing days, directions, parking, etc. Patrons should also verify any Covid related guidelines for each museum before visiting.

  • The pass must be returned, by its due day, before the Ramsey Library closes.
