Need help with a reference question?
- First try to come to the library.
For lengthy or in-depth research,
it's best to visit the library to discuss your questions with a reference librarian.
A dialogue
helps us provide the best information. A reference librarian is on duty at the
reference desk all the hours the library is open.
- For short reference questions (ones that can be answered with no more
than five minutes research), you are welcome to telephone (201-327-1445). We'll answer immediately if
traffic permits,
or we will call you back with the answer as soon as
possible.
- An e-mail reference service for
questions that can be answered with about five minutes research is beginning. Fill out the form below, and we'll make every effort to
respond within two business days.
Please be specific and
provide as much relevant information as possible as an e-mail
question does not give the reference librarian the opportunity
to discuss the question with you.
